DIN to Composite / Component cables

Our Z-IP Encode 004/008/008e product line comes with the a 10 Pin DIN Composite/Component cables which can be used for audio and video inputs to the encoder. This cable is used to connect an external AV source content / media which either have a composite or a component output. The included cable has a 10 Pin DIN connector on one side and six multi colored RCA phono connectors on the other side. Listed below is the use case and color codes for each scenario of usage,

DIN to Component:
  1. Red, Green and Blue RCA connectors are used for video
  2. White and Black are used for left and right analog audio
  3. Yellow is used for closed captioning
DIN to Composite:
  1. Yellow is for video
  2. White and Red are for left and right analog audio
Warning
Do not plug in all six RCA connectors if your AV source has both the component and composite outputs or if you have an HDMI connected to that input channel.  Choose either the component out or composite out from that source and use the appropriate connectors on the provided DIN cables.
