Encode 300 - Accessing the UI
Setup Information
- Plug in your Source (HDMI/HD-SDI/Serial (Component/Composite)
- Plug in your Ethernet Cable
- Plug in the Power
At this point the unit should do the following:
- The unit will start up with a blinking Green power LED on the front of the unit
- Next the Video in LED will begin to flash Green
- After about 3-5 minutes the unit will hold a steady Green light on both the Power & Video LED's
You should move on to configuring the unit and computer/laptop to access the software GUI
- Default IP Address: 192.168.1.1
- You should direct connect to the device with a standard Category Cable
- Configure your computer/laptop address to an IP Address between 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.255, Subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0 and the Default Gateway should be left blank
- Turn off your Wifi if it's on
- Open up a suitable web browser: Internet Explorer/Chrome/Firefox
- Type into the web browser https://192.168.1.1/ (Be sure that you include the S on the http for a secure connection)
- The Log In screen should appear for the device
- Default Password for the Log In screen: 1qaz!QAZ
- That will take you to the Dashboard of the unit
