Import a new license file

This article explains how to import a license into ZHC Insight whether you're completing a new install or renewing an existing license.

The following steps cover preparing license file/key, uploading it into Insight, confirming license details, and basic troubleshooting if activation fails.

1. On a web browser, you can access ZHC-Insight using the IP Address of the physical server or the virtual appliance where the software is installed. 

1. If your license file is already expired then you will an error page as shown below. Click the "Go to About US page" link at the bottom. If your license is still valid and you wish to update it regardless, then on the left sidebar click Status and then select "About Us" page.

2.  Once in the About Us page, Click the "Import New License" in the bottom right corner.

3. Prepare your license file in advance and keep it in an accessible location for upload.

4. After you upload the license key, a green confirmation popup will appear at the bottom right corner of the screen and you're redirected to the login page. Once you sign in, Insight is ready to use.
