If this is the first time you are using this meter and you are not sure, please review the Legend and take the following steps.

- Power on the unit by pressing the Power button. You will start at the Home page.

Using the rotating selector or up/down arrows, scroll down until you reach the last option Setup. (H30 meter has a rotating selector in the middle for scrolling and H30+ has directional pads)

Ensure that Units is set to dBmV. If not, scroll down to Units and press the "OK" button. Then scroll to dBmV and press the "OK" button again. Once that is complete, you should see a check mark to the right of that option. You can now press the "Back" button to return to the previous menu.

Now ensure that Plan is configured to FCC STD. If not, perform the same as in step 3, Scroll/OK/Scroll/OK/Verify Selection/Back

Scroll up or press the "Back" button again or the "Home" button.
Initial setup is now complete.
