Settings for the Z-Light Fiber Transmitter
This is a question that comes up from time to time. The easy answer is to not change any of the default settings on the fiber transmitter.
The transmitter has been preset to MGC/Manual Gain Control with 11dB of attenuation for 20dBmV input signal. It is important that the input RF level is a flat 20dBmV.
Any adjustments to the fiber output signal can be made by the variable optical attenuator that is included with the fiber transmitter.
